Paddling on the River Cherwell is a safe and fun challenge for all abilities.
We’ll pass historic colleges, pubs and famous parks.
A highlight is falling in and realising the water is lovely.
Who can join: Beginners are very welcome, and ages 8+.
Under 18s: Children can be dropped off by a parent/guardian (you can stay or come back at the end).

WHERE DO WE MEET
We offer 2 different meeting locations.
Option 1 (North Oxford): We meet at Sunnymeade Park car park (Water Eaton Rd, Oxford, OX2 7QQ). There’s free parking.
Option 2 (South Oxford): We meet by Donnington Bridge (in Meadow Lane, Oxford, OX4 4AZ - the map below is a bit off, the car park is next to the bridge, by the Oxford Sea Cadets). There’s free parking.

No problem! The boards are very stable but sometimes participants get wet. It’s easy to dry off and change into spare clothes when we get back.

It’s a beautiful and tranquil river, with many families and adults paddling on it every year. Some people swim in the river all year round.
